Busy Cornwall ~ How
www.busy-cornwall.uk/how.htm
How much? The Basic StartUp fee is £10, ongoing Basic Rental costs are from £2 per month. Full details will be listed once we have settled on them. Some initial start-up deals may be offered. How many hidden extras? None. The Basic Presence offers ~ your own URL ~  some text, ~ up to ten pictures on one page. If you want more than that then we can provide more. More pages ~ more pictures ~ more other things ~ all at reasonable ~ modest ~ further cost. How much will it cost in the future? We are not making introductory offers which escalate after the first three months. We do not plan to increase any of our charges for the foreseeable future. It may become necessary if the site does not become self-sufficient, or if our own rentals increase unexpectedly, to rethink this policy. How much does it cost to cancel? There is no long-term contract. You can opt-out at any time, without notice, and without penalty payment. You simply contact your bank and stop future standing orders. We remove your information. End of story. There is no refund for payments already made since we do incur a considerable proportion of costs at start-up time. How are costs kept low? We do not send out reminders or chase late payments. We do not advertise. We keep everything as simple as possible, commensurate with a sensible service. We do not enter into lengthy consultations with you. Sign-up ~ check your stuff out on-line ~ tell your bank ~ then forget all about it until your needs change. How do I have a greater presence? If you want more features then we can provide them ~ more pages ~ more pictures ~ more space ~ completely separate URL and layout and service. All at greater cost.   How do I pay? StartUp payment can be by cheque, PayPal (from your own account, or by secure debit or credit card transfer arranged through them), or as an initial part of an ongoing standing order, please. The ongoing monthly rental must be by standing order. It provides us with regular income, and gives you the opportunity to cancel whenever you wish. There is no security risk, since we have no dealings with your bank beyond receiving money from them at your instruction. If you have e-banking it can be arranged on-line. The usual banking requirement is and instruction something like “Pay £x now and £y every month on the 15th of the month until cancelled”. (Mid month suits us best, please, if you can, and please quote Busy-Cornwall.) How secure is a card payment? We do not have sufficient expertise or security in place to be able to accept payment by credit card ourselves. Payment by card via an intermediary such as PayPal does not require full membership, just go to their site at paypal.co.uk and arrange a payment. PayPal is run by a bank, and provides all possible security for its users. No card-related information is passed out of their system. They take your money and then pay 97% of that to us. We have used PayPal for many years with full satisfaction. How much does PayPal charge? To “Transfer Money” by PayPal is easy and free. You do not have to open an account PayPal to “Transfer Money”, and they have a secure credit card system for non-member payments. It is also (almost) free of fees for us to receive it. How much does a bank charge? Most banks make no charges, either to you or to us, for standing orders to be set-up and maintained.
